RSS Feeds

RSS Feeds

RSS is a format that allows content to be shared across the web easily. Generally sharing is most useful to websites that have lots of content, particularly if that content is regularly updated. An RSS file (or Feed) is written in XML and holds a list of items, each of which contains a title, description and a link to a web page.
Users who have Feed Readers can paste feeds into their readers and keep up to date with the latest from their favourite web sites by reading the headlines and descriptions, provided by the feed, then clicking through to the website for more information.
As well as this, websites with feeds can distribute their content by offering other website owners headlines, descriptions and links as a taster to users to visit their sites for more detail. This benefits both website owners, who wish additional content, and those who wish additional site traffic.

RSS Feeds for Feed Readers

Below are some feeds that you may wish to paste into your Feed Reader. Right click on the XML icon, or XML link, and select copy shortcut - then paste the feed into your Feed Reader. You can Download a Free Feed Reader Here if you don't already have one. Or if you're a Yahoo or MSN member then click on the appropriate graphic or text link and the feed will be added to your Yahoo or MSN page.
