Text Area
This is the text that will show below your heading. The font of the text will default to the font face, size and colour that you set within Style Management unless you choose to alter the font from within the WYSIWYG editor.

The WYSIWYG Editor Controls

You can highlight areas of text then change the font face, size and colour. If you wish all text in this area in a particular font face, size and colour then you should set it via Style Management rather than set it here. However for small areas of text, this option is useful. You can also set areas of text to bold, italic and underline. The use of underline is normally not recommended on web pages since it may be mistaken for hyperlinks.
You can also insert bulleted lists and simple tables.
You can view the text as HTML which is useful if you wish to paste areas of HTML into your text.

Hyperlinks
You can insert a link to an external web site or e-mail address by clicking the insert external link icon then selecting either web link or e-mail link, entering the web address or e-mail address then entering the text that you wish to appear as the link.
You can also insert an internal link to a page on your site by clicking the insert internal link icon then selecting the web page that you wish to link to then entering the text that wish to appear as the link.

Showing or Hiding Text
You can show or hide the text area in this content area by setting the appropriate radio button and clicking the "Update this Text" button. You might want to do this if you only require an image to appear in the content area
