On the left is an example of how DHTML can make a web page more interactive. This example allows the user to mouse over areas of the picture which triggers a tooltip to appear with text and graphics explaining the component parts of the machine. This technique is useful since it allows a lot of information to be squeezed into a very small space without the user having to scroll up and down the page. It also downloads very quickly. |
